Structured Carnatic vocal training for children aged 8–15, designed to build musical foundations, consistent practice habits, and the confidence to perform.
20+ years of teaching experience • 200+ students taught
I work with parents of children aged 8–15 who want their child to learn Carnatic vocal systematically—not simply attend classes and forget the lesson at home.
Parents often want to support their child but don't always know what to focus on between lessons.
The aim is to give children a structured path where learning, practice, correction, repetition, and performance confidence develop together.
My approach is built around four connected stages. Each stage supports the next so that children are not simply collecting songs—they are developing as young musicians.
Build strong Carnatic vocal fundamentals and understand what they are singing.
Develop focused, consistent practice habits that can continue beyond the music class.
Use preparation, repetition, and encouragement to help children become more comfortable with their music.
Prepare children to share what they have learned with greater clarity and confidence.
The goal is a child with stronger musical foundations, more consistent practice, and growing confidence—not a child who is simply pushed to spend more hours practicing.
A structured learning journey for children aged 8–15 who want to develop their Carnatic vocal skills, practice more effectively, and grow in performance confidence.
The focus is on the underlying musical development that helps a child learn with greater clarity and consistency.
No complicated claims. Just years of working with students and focusing on the fundamentals that help children develop.
I have spent more than two decades teaching Carnatic vocal music and helping students develop their musical skills through structured learning, regular practice, and performance preparation.
